Tim’s Rivershore has been a staple on the Potomac River for decades, and has hosted countless events every season. One of those events is the “Not on the 4th” Fireworks Show, which is one of the coolest things you will ever see on the river. This year, the show will be on Saturday, June 26 around 9:45PM.
This is going to be a special show, because it may be the last one that we’ll ever see at that location. Although Tim’s Rivershore is open all this summer, the restaurant is slated to close at the end of the season. So see it while you can!
If you are new to this event, most people will anchor out in the water in front of the restaurant, and the fireworks will be launched from a giant barge. You’ll want to avoid the safety area around the barge, find a nice place to anchor, and watch the show. If you get there early enough, there may still be room on the Tim’s docks too.
Either way you decide to attend, make sure to stop into the restaurant and partake of the many great food and booze choices (Killer Driller) available. Dude, it’s all about the fish bites!!
