Also known as Sea Ray Bay, this is another favorite anchorage for boaters along the Middle Potomac and Occoquan Rivers. It’s common to see more than 10 boats rafted up here on any weekend, and the parties can get pretty wild. This is the home of Belmont-A-Palooza!
Parts of Belmont Bay can get very shallow, so watch your depths. On approach from the Occoquan channel, make your turn into Belmont Bay between the red “6” marker and Sandy Point, staying closer to the red “6” marker.
