Not everything in the winter season sucks! Each year around this time, we look forward to the holiday boat parades! This year the annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights, and the The District’s Holiday Boat Parade will happen at the same time – Saturday, December 2. Those tough souls who are willing to brave the cold weather and decorate their boats will likely be participating in both parades.
The Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights happens in Old Town Alexandria on the waterfront at 5:30PM and will last at least a good hour! Click HERE for info about their event and where the best spots will be to see the parade!
The District’s Holiday Boat Parade will start at 6PM at the DC Wharf, and should also last at least a good hour or more. You can get all the details on their website HERE.
