Each year, the good folks at Prince William County Police Department host a Polar Plunge – an event that benefits Special Olympics Virginia. If this is new to you, here’s how it works:
The idea is that you register, either as yourself or a team, and fundraise for Special Olympics. Then, on February 17, 2024, show up at Leesylvania State Park (2001 Daniel K. Ludwig Dr., Woodbridge 22191), and get ready to get wet (and cold)!
To register, visit the Special Olympics VA website and make it happen. It’s for a good cause, and who doesn’t love getting freezing cold in the dead of winter, right?
