Tim Bauckman, a living legend on the river, never disappoints! You thought the fireworks were over on July 4, but nope! Every year Tim’s II at Fairview Beach puts on one massive fireworks show, and it’s become a Potomac River tradition! This year Tim will be lighting them off on July 11 after dark. This is the show that is guaranteed to make great memories – unless you’ve had too many Killer Drillers! Get there early to find a good spot to anchor, ride the water taxi to the deck at Tim’s II, and enjoy food and drink specials and live music all day!
For boaters planning to enjoy the fireworks from the water, safety and consideration are key. As you approach, keep an eye out for the buoys marking the safety zone around the fireworks barge, and please avoid creating wakes in the area, as crews will be hard at work setting up the display. Additionally, be mindful of the wind direction – falling debris from the fireworks could end up on your boat, so position yourself wisely to avoid any unwanted surprises. These precautions ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved in this vibrant community event.
The “NOT on the Fourth” fireworks show is made possible by a wide array of sponsors from across the region, whose generous support brings this event to life. We encourage everyone to visit these local businesses and show your appreciation for their commitment to keeping this tradition alive. For those planning pickups, Tim requests that you please use the nearby Fairview Beach Yacht Club marina, as coolers and similar items are not permitted through the restaurant, and we want to keep the parking lot clear for diners. Let’s come together to celebrate this spectacular return, support the sponsors, and make new memories under the dazzling lights of Tim’s II “NOT on the Fourth” fireworks show.

Also, big thanks to the sponsors of this great event!
