The Potomac boating community is looking to help identify and catch the knobs who stole this couple’s boat around midnight on April 16, from Capt John S. Beach Marina. The crooks broke through the marina gate, and went to work on the trailer lock that was securing the boat, a beautiful Yamaha 242X. After a while they were able to break the lock, hook it up, and drive off. If you have any information that can help identify these people, or their vehicle, please call Fairfax County Police Department at 703-691-2131 and reference case # 20241070156. Let’s catch these donkeys!
Above is the boat we are looking for. Here’s how it looks like it all went down. A little but after midnight, the thieves moved in:
Followed by their truck, which looks like a Ford F350 Flatbed, but nobody is 100% sure.
After working on the trailer lock, they finally break it and hook up.
Once they have it hooked up, they take off. Notice they don’t turn on the headlights until they are halfway down the road.
Here’s some other pics of the boat, as well as the thieves, so please keep your eyes open for the boat, the truck, and these donkeys! Notify Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131 and reference Case # 20241070156.
