Annual Charity Poker Run Returns June 6 Benefiting Alzheimer’s Support Network
The popular Charity Poker Run is back for 2026 and will take place on Saturday, June 6. This full-day event on the water continues to be one of the most enjoyable ways to spend a Saturday while supporting a great cause—the Alzheimer’s Support Network. This year’s route features several new stops and a great mix of food, drinks, and good company:
Stop 1: Aqua Bay Marina – Registration begins at 8:00 AM with breakfast starting at 9:00 AM. Participants receive their first card and event shirts here.
Stop 2: Pier House – Cobb Island – Drink stop and second card.
Stop 3: Los Hermanos Cantina – Colonial Beach – Lunch stop and third card.
Stop 4: Dockside Restaurant & Tiki Bar – Colonial Beach – Drink stop and fourth card.
Final Stop: Fairview Beach / Tim II At Fairview – Dinner stop, fifth card, prize presentations, and after-party.
In addition to the standard poker hand, participants can purchase additional poker hands throughout the day. There will also be a 50/50 cash raffle along with many other great prizes awarded at the final stop.
This event has become a favorite on the Potomac because it combines great boating with good food, new friends, and support for an important local charity. Whether you have a fast boat or a slow cruiser, everyone is welcome.
