If you are planning to go boating around the Lower Potomac this week, you might want to pay extra attention to the live fire range schedule at NSF Dahlgren. It looks like they will be hucking explosive ordinance downriver on Tuesday October 27, between the hours of 8AM and 5 PM. River restrictions will be in effect from the NSF Dahlgren base, all the way to Potomac View (yellow “M” buoy) on the Maryland side, and past Colonial Beach (yellow “L” buoy) on the Virginia side.
I have to believe it would suck to get caught up in that, so do try not to get yourselves blown up! More info can be found here!
